ACE (Achieve, Connect, Empower — formerly DECA U) is a nationwide student competition network that focuses on fast-paced, hands-on case solving, business strategy, and collaboration. TRACE is Toronto Metropolitan University’s official ACE chapter, proudly representing TMU in competitions across the country.

Not at all! Many of our delegates start with zero experience. TRACE provides training, practice cases, and mentorship so you can learn and grow at your own pace.

The only requirement to become a delegate is to be a current student at Toronto Metropolitan University and pay the one-time $30 delegate registration fee. While attending ACE Nationals is not mandatory, we strongly encourage delegates to participate — it’s a fantastic opportunity to sharpen your case-solving skills, gain real competition experience, and represent our award-winning chapter.

Yes — TRACE is open to all TMU students, regardless of citizenship or visa status.
